Autograph letter signed, by Abraham Shearman, Jr., to Samuel Boyd Tobey (1805-1867), of Providence, R.I., relating to recent visits from prominent members of the Society of Friends to the area meetings, as well as, those traveling to England; comments on Shearman's, Tobey's, and mutual acquaintances' health conditions and remarks about recently deceased friends; and criticism on the quality of printing of a recent publication and how he would like to send abroad the corrected version of this item.
